Salt marsh sediment CHN, bulk density and gamma emission data from sediment cores are provided for calculation of high marsh sediment accumulation and accretion rates in sediments collected during the Fall of 2014 in the Nelson Island Creek marsh, off Stackyard Rd., Rowley, MA.
We deployed an eddy covariance system to measure ecosystem-atmosphere exchange of CO2 above a high marsh system (Spartina patens, short Spartina alterniflora) located on the Parker River Wildlife Refuge in marshes of Plum Island Sound, Rowley MA. The system is located near a higher elevation rock outcroppingprotected area which allows the tower set up to remain during the Winter as it is protected from ice flows. The data represents CO2 exchange for all 12 months of 2013.

Fine scale DEM was generated by using Terrasolid’s TerraScan Lidar processing software, based on airborne LiDAR data collected on April 19th to 25th, 2005; then a toolbox ArcHydro in the software ArcGIS is used to extract stream network from the DEM data.

The file contains measurements of the two tallest Phragmites australis stems per five meter interval along transects at the Argilla Rd. salt marsh restoration site (Ipswich, MA) and Rough Meadows reference marsh (Rowley, MA – Stackyard Road area). The culvert feeding Argilla Marsh was enlarged in late November 1998, thus data from 1999 onward is considered as representing a hydrologically restored marsh.
A description of transects used for long term studies of marsh vegetation in Rowley, MA. Four sites ((12 transects) were originally set up to study the impact of salt marsh haying. Two of these sites (labeled McH and EPH) were regularly hayed until 2002. The other two (PUH and CC) were reference sites. Two additional sites labeled RM (8 transects) were originally set up to track invasion by Phragmites australis.

Measurements of water column depth at 15 minute intervals in Plum Island Sound at the Ipswich Bay Yacht Club, for year 2018. OTT radar level sensor (RLS) installed September 20, 2011 out of the water under the concrete pad on the Ipswich Bay Yacht Club pier, Ipswich, MA. RLS was mounted so that continuous year round measurements can be conducted without the concern of ice flows damaging the sensor.
Year 2018 meteorological measurements at MBL Marshview Farm of air temperature, humidity, precipitation, solar radiation, photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), wind speed and direction and barometric pressure. Sensors conduct measurements every 5 secs and measurements are reported as averages or totals for 15 minute intervals.
15 minute averages are reported for air temperature, humidity, solar radiation, PAR, wind speed and direction and barometric pressure.
